Eric
Eric hails from Concord, California, just like Tom Hanks and Mark Hamill.
After graduating from Clayton Valley High School, Eric was accepted to the University of California at Berkeley where he joined the Delta Tau Delta fraternity. Unfortunately, he hitched his wagon to the wrong star and promptly flunked out after one year. He spent the next four years at Diablo Valley College accumulating units with reckless abandon. When he neared the 100 unit mark, he decided it was time to visit his advisor for assistance in selecting a major. It was during this visit that the completely useless advisor talked him into studying forestry at Humboldt State University. He graduated in 2001 with a major in Forestry and a double minor in Natural Resources Recreation Planning and Environmental Ethics. He passed the ISA Certified Arborist exam in 2005 and the ISA Utility Specialist exam in 2006.
Eric’s professional career includes extensive experience in the food service industry including scooping ice cream and accepting cash for western bacon cheeseburgers. He also has two years experience dealing blackjack and other table games. He is especially proud of his time dressing up as a rat and dancing for birthday parties to “Walking on Sunshine” for a major pizza time theatre corporation. He is currently employed as the Project Manager for PG&E’s vegetation management inspection contractor. Eric oversees the program for powerline tree trimming inspection for all of Humboldt, Mendocino, and Lake Counties, as well as parts of Trinity, Sonoma, and Siskiyou Counties. He is also currently employed by a 100% local radio station.
An avid baseball fan, he enjoys studying everything from its beginnings some 150 years ago to today’s superstars. Although Eric enjoys watching good movies, he likes watching bad movies even more. He is also a pretty good cook.
Eric was married to his wife in 2001. They welcomed a beautiful baby daughter into the world in February of 2008. They have a dog, three cats, a rabbit, and a snake named Karl.
Catch Eric on weekends from 10AM - 2PM and every Thursday for 80s night from 6PM - 10PM.
